A Quick Overview of Tableau Compared with the Same for PowerBI
As part of a piece of work, where we asked users to create the same visual, so we could evaluate from a user perspective, which tool they found easier to use, understand, and have more freedom to analyse their data, I have created to brief tours of the tools.
This is not an exhaustive tour, and really only scratches the surface of each tools' abilities, but it does give the bare minimum needed from the Start Screen, through to connecting to the Superstore dataset, and then working with the designer, but crucially, no dashboards, nor interactivity have been included in this as this is not part of the evaluation (and Tableau is far more powerful on this), where Power BI barely has any, so this is a huge advantage to Tableau, and would unfairly skew the results to Tableau.
