To be Tableau, or not to be Tableau, that is the question

Mostly down to cost, but also because Microsoft has put together a great deal (for now) on its Fabric suite, my employer has been asking that awful question: should we stick with Tableau or dump it for Power BI?

And they’ve cruelly tasked me to produce the analysis and then worse, planned for several users with mixed analytics and BI skills from across the business to evaluate both.

I was at least given the freedom to design the evaluations.
